1. Use of Service & Eligibility
- Business Use: PocketInvoicePro by JessNutrition is for professional use between independent contractors and their clients.
- Age Requirement: Users must be at least 18 years old to enter into the binding financial agreements facilitated by the app.
- Account Responsibility: Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their login credentials and all activity under their account.
2. Messaging & Consent (TCPA/GDPR Compliance)
- Consent to Contact: Contractors must obtain legal consent from their customers to send them invoices and messages via the app.
- Opt-Out Mechanisms: Customers can opt out of messages at any time (e.g., by replying “STOP”).
- Message Frequency: Message frequency may vary based on the number of invoices or reminders sent.
- Standard Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
3. Invoicing & Payment Terms
Since the app involves financial transactions:
- Facilitation Only: The app is a platform and facilitates payment only. App is not a party to the contract between the contractor and the customer. You are not responsible for the quality of work or payment disputes.
- Third-Party Processors: Payments are handled by Stripe. By using the app users must agree to Stripe’s terms as well.
- Accuracy of Invoices: The contractor is solely responsible for the accuracy of the tax calculations, service descriptions, and totals provided in the invoice.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
- No harassment, spamming, or sending unsolicited marketing.
- No fraudulent invoicing or “phishing” for customer financial data.
- No transmission of malware or illegal content.
5. Limitation of Liability
- No Warranty: The service is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee 100% uptime.
6. Termination of Service
- State that you reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate the T&C, especially for fraudulent invoicing or harassment.
